It's the end of summer, and your podcast pals Doc and Sue wrap it up with a review of all the fun that happened during Vancouver's (semi) sunny season.That includes murders and fights, police shootings, sun all week but not on the weekend, and the giant trench going up Cambie Street. Tons of little items: we're the most liveable city in the world again; (possibly as a consequence) we also have the sixth most overpriced real estate in the world. AND the world's largest ball of tape! All this and much more. Come on in. Just stay out of the refrigerator. You'll spoil your dinner.

Plus the usual string of non-sequiturs from our crack team of non-sequituries.

Doc and Sue express outrage at the money-grabbing tactics of the Vancouver Olympic Committee, Caesar the psycho rooster gets his just desserts, and your hosts show naked people on the Internet (believe it or not! Is this a first?). Sue channels Lawrence Welk to sell a boat cruise, and the pair of them go hiking in Deep Cove. Well, around Deep Cove. If you went hiking in Deep Cove, you'd drown. That would just be stupid.

Also: Doc's fishmongering tip, Sue's Amazing Fact and a tune from Vancouver's Sarah McLachlan.

To delight and baffle you once again, itâs Lotusland 8! Doc and Sue dig into the history of Vancouverâs Kitsilano neighborhood from its beginnings as a campsite for the locals (and one amusing squatter), to its 60s incarnation as a hippie enclave, man, and its present-day form as an infestation of yuppies. As part of our 2010 Olympics coverage, we investigate how they get the Olympic flame from place to place, and finally we cross Capilano Canyon on a wobbly suspension bridge (bring your GravolÂ). Also, a small series of almost unexplainable comedy bits that really donât have anything to do with the show.

It's a new year, and a new podcast! This time, Doc and Sue take you on a tour of Vancouver's Chinatown and some of its many attractions: the world's skinniest building (jealously eyed by certain types in Pennsylvania) and the beautiful Sun-Yat-Sen Garden. They then stuff their faces at the Ho Ho. Also, female ski jumpers demand equality at the Olympics and ferocious storms knock down huge swaths of Stanley Park. The two events are not related. We hope.
